Why Is Our Website "chelangoodtrouble.com"?

Chelan Valley Indivisible is who we are. In naming our website, however, we were inspired by the words of the late Congressman, John Lewis, who said:

"Get in good trouble, necessary trouble, and help redeem the soul of America."

John Lewis was a member of the United States House of Representatives from 1987 until his death in 2020. He represented Geogia's 5th Congressional District. In addition to being a member of Congress, Mr. Lewis was a civil rights leader in America. He was a contemporary of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
